Paying your taxes and filing taxes are two different things. Filing is how THEY get you, you provide the paperwork and evidence for THEY to turn around and use audit you. Ask the question, can you pay your taxes without filing and incriminating yourself on that voluntary form? W2, thats you paying your taxes. Its paid. Filing is paperwork to damn your ass and agree to the IRS vetting what you paid. You paid and you pay in sales tax and federal deductions. Its paid. What is the filing for? The hook and bait. You can make your W2 be so you have no refunds. Why file then? You paid, its paid. W2 is your record of payment. Let them proove you owe anything.
